Custom pages

You can create custom pages to display them on your store website. For example, you can create a page for your store contacts or "About us" page.

To start working with custom pages, in admin interface, go to Custom pages.

In Custom pages, you can:

Sort custom pages

You can sort custom pages by:

  • creation date (by default, the custom pages are sorted from the newest to the oldest ones)
  • alphabetical order

To sort custom pages:

  1. In Custom pages, select Sort button
  2. Select the sorting you want to apply

If you apply non-default sorting, the sort button has the indication: Non-default sort icon

Filter custom pages

You can filter custom pages by status. By default, the filter shows custom pages in all statuses. To filter custom pages:

  1. In Custom pages, select Filter button
  2. Select the filter you want to apply

Search custom pages

To find custom pages by title, use the search bar above the custom pages table.

Create custom page

To create a custom page:

  1. In Custom pages, select Create Page
  2. Fill in custom page parameters
  3. Select Save

After you create a custom page, include it in a navigation menu, so your customers can access the page on your store website.

Edit custom page

To edit a custom page:

  1. In Custom pages, select the custom page you want to edit
  2. Change the custom page parameters
  3. Select Save

Custom page parameters

Status. Required parameter. A custom page can have Public page or Draft status. The pages with Draft status are not available in Navigation, so you cannot include them on your store website. However, these pages are still available on their URL directly.

Page title. Required parameter. It represents the page name and is shown at the top of the page on your store website. The title must contain 2-63 symbols. Allowed symbols: letters, digits, hyphens, underscores.

Page content. It is the page body. You can use all the rich text editor features (check Rich text editor to learn more) to create a unique content for the custom page. The page content cannot exceed 100 000 symbols.

Page template. The page template defines the layout of the page on your store website. You can create additional templates in Code editor.

URL. Required parameter. It is a uniform resource locator (URL) for the custom page on your store website. By default, URL is autogenerated after the Page title is filled in, but you can change it. URL must be unique within all custom pages of your store and must contain 2-63 symbols. Allowed symbols: letters, digits, hyphens. Example: .../pages/contacts

Title of search snippet. Required parameter. A search snippet is a short description of the custom page that appears in search results. The title of the search snippet appears above its description (learn more about meta title tags). It can contain up to 60 symbols. Any type of symbols is allowed.

Description of search snippet. A part of the search snippet which appears under its title (learn more about meta description tag). It can contain up to 160 symbols. Any type of symbols is allowed.

Preview custom page

  1. In Custom pages, select the custom page you want to preview
  2. In Edit custom page, select Preview page

The preview opens in a new browser tab.

Delete custom page

To delete a custom page:

I. First option:

  1. In Custom pages, select Delete custom page button for the custom page you want to delete
  2. In the pop-up window, select Delete

II. Second option:

  1. In Custom pages, select the custom page you want to delete
  2. In Edit custom page, select Delete below
  3. In the pop-up window, select Delete
